HOLY SHIT IT'S HUGE

Some things for another website-

This is related to (but might not actually be, as my handwriting is horrible) the Kanji for "Suffering-" A Primary symbol in the Bitter Endings trilogy that Zach has been scripting for the last few years.

And this is the WIP for the image at the bottom of the page- it is an array of primary characters from the stories, from left to right-
Raixen, Sirus, Artemis, Kyo, Amanda, Skylar, and Dr. Fillask.
I probably won't finish this for awhile, but that's perfectly alright- it's not too terribly important, compared to other things.

Ehm. There is a large number of sketches, now.
like, a shit lot.

These are all sketches concerning Porta Custodis (working title)-
There's a medley of Stephen, Lucifer, the Kids, Ol' Shuck, and prototypes of the damned as they appear in the story :3
If you can read the handwriting, then maybe you can see that I'm posing a different take on lucifer-
Going sort of on the idea that, well-
He rebelled when God's creations were still but young. I sort of imagine him as being something like a teenager- He has a natural bit of rebellion in him, and he understands that what he did was wrong- but has no fuckign clue how to fix it, and part of him resents the idea of doing so-
Once i figure out how to draw the wings right, they'll be clipped-
An angel who can't fly :3

as for the dog, Ol' Shuck, he's sort of more of a minor player (though an actual dog- not sapient) and is intended to be drawn as a mix of Boxer and Leonberger.
He's very loosely based on The Grimm dog, tough his existane leans more toward Cŵn Annwn, with the exception that he does reside in the northernmost area of Storia's graveyard. . . :3 He helps lost souls find their way to the terminal, where they take the appropriate train to whichever place they're meant to head for.

I don't have too much to say about the kids, other than that they die, and that one of them (Aaron) is Stephen's son- They're meant to play a major role in the story, but I haven't worked it out yet.

As for Stephen himself- I describe what he is most basically as Hell's Security Guard, but that's not exactly it- I'll try to geher my thoughts and post more on it later :

The DJinn (i said Genie up there, but decided that it sounded cheesy, and went with the original Djinn) and the cat-demon--thing are residents of hell-
I'm aware of the usual myths on the DJinn, and am somewhat familliar with their status as a real entity (within some cultures :3) however, here, they're mostly as a particular punishment for a particular series of crimes-
plus, the idea of a person being made out of smokeless fire is just damn cool- but otherwise I don't have much of a backstory for their involvement, or if it will be at all major.

as for the cat-like-things-
those are souls that reside in hell. I was toying with the idea of-
what's one of the worst things ?
well-
I sort of thought- Being dehumanized. No longer being yourself.
I've heard that people who get face transplants usually end up going nuts and killing themselves-
because that's not them in the mirror anymore. I sort of ran with that-
They're emaciated, and originally were supposed to to just have shriveled faces, but I ended up extending that a bit further into a more feral side, and the fact that they ended up feline is purely coincidental. it's.. sort of the standard punishment, and the severity depends on why you're in hell to begin with;
it is implemented in addition to other, more specific punishments.

and. Yes. there's.. that.
Next up. . .

this is actually really old, a few months, but I just now finally scanned it ^_^;
It's Error and Gwen-
I suppose that, if I made it more of a memory or dream-scape, I could alternatively title it "when she loved me."- I'd include more, but I feel like I've already wasted your time with my .. ranting right above there.

this is a sketch-wtf-thang for Infinity Cat,- which is what I name all my clothing designs after- it's the DWP "line," if you will.
this was an idea suggested o me by a friend, and I rathe rliked it-
plus, well.
baby dragon.
D'aww.
when I digitally ink it, I'll be trying to adapt away from what it looks like now-
looks more.. spyro-y than I'd intended.
